Chen Yan
Head of Commodity Equities Research and Managing Director CICC
Mr. Chen Yan, CFA, is the Head of Commodity Equities Research and Managing Director with CICC. He has 14 years of equities research experience. Before joining CICC, he worked for Standard Chartered Bank and Cazenove Asia covering commodities sector in both China and other Asian countries with rich resources. Prior to that, he had worked buy-side role and corporate roles.
Patrick Bennett
Head of Macro Strategy – Asia, Global Markets

Mr. Bennett joined CIBC in 2011 as Head of FX Strategy – Asia with our Macro Strategy group.
He has over 20 years of experience in FX and markets strategy and has spent more than 15 years in Asia in both Singapore and Hong Kong, previously holding positions at several large European banks. At CIBC he covers Asia-Pacific currencies and contributes to research on rates and markets.
Mr. Bennett plays a key role in CIBC’s efforts to deliver innovative research and tactical trade ideas which are integral to building strong client relationships and growing our core businesses.
Anna Yu
Oil & Gas and Chemicals Sectors and Auto Sector Analyst of the Research Department

Anna Yu is the Oil & Gas and Chemicals Sectors and Auto Sector Analyst of the Research Department of ICBC International, responsible for Oil & Gas Sector research. She has 10 years of experience in Energy Sector research. In her earlier careers, she worked with CMS (HK), BNP Paribas (Asia) and Haitong Securities (HK) in equity research focusing on the coal, power and oil sectors. She was ranked No.3 among Chinese brokers (Team) in Oil & Gas and Chemicals Sectors in 2016 Institutional Investor All-China Research Poll. She holds a MBA degree from the University of Hong Kong.
